Remember the genius way Olivia Palermo styled her scarf with a dress back in August?
Well, the stunning socialite must have enjoyed the pairing because she did a repeat of the combination when she attended the Burberry Prorsum fashion show in London on Monday.
Apparently, Olivia pulled the look straight from the label’s ad campaign, but infused her personal style by picking different prints (dress + scarf). When she was in Sydney, Olivia used a floral-and-check scarf from Burberry and topped the piece over a dusty pink floral midi dress. On Monday, however, the fashion plate chose a more romantic-looking frock done in dip-dyed white lace, and mixed the number with a printed blue neck warmer. She capped off the outfit with a skinny belt, a pair of Schutz ankle-strap heels, and blue rimmed eyewear.

Do you like what Olivia put together here, or do you prefer the previous ensemble she wore?
We’re leaning towards this pairing. The colors complement better and the print-on-texture treatment looks brilliant. Olivia’s dress is from Burberry’s Resort 2015 collection, so you’ll need to wait a few months before you can get your hands on the piece. And while we don’t have the official details yet, we’re guessing her scarf belongs to the same line-up as well.
For those who wish to copy Olivia’s look this fall, you need not spend your hard-earned moolah on Burberry pieces. You can recreate the layered outfit for a lot less using similar can-afford items, such as the ones below:
Rachel Pally Shannon Maxi Dress, $242 / Paisley Print Scarf, $58 / Ivanka Trump Keyhole Sunglasses, $98 / Lauren Ralph Lauren Logo Debossed Patent Belt, $42 / Schutz ‘Panteria’ Nubuck Sandals, $180
Below is a closer look at the scarf we used to seal the deal. This lovely throw from Nordstrom is crafted from 70% modal and 30% wool so it’s unbelievably soft to touch and lightweight. For $58, we think it’s a keeper.
