It has been a good while since we’ve covered Alessandra Ambrosio. Honestly, though, the only reason why we don’t feature her here each week is that you might end up having an Ale overload. Today, however, we just couldn’t help ourselves.
Alessandra Ambrosio wears a classic blue wrap dress with hot sandals
Recently, the supermodel was spotted sporting a colorful scarf that we found really interesting. It was bordered with Mediterranean-inspired patterns and trimmed with cute little pompoms at the edges.
The piece was one-of-a-kind, and we really like how she styled it with a classic blue wrap dress and a pair of sandals. The look was simple, sexy, and very spring appropriate.

Don’t you love the mix she put together?
If you take out the dress (and everything else) and just leave the scarf, you’ll find that it can be a bit tricky to wear because of those pompoms.
A scarf with special trimmings such as pompoms requires a little bit more thought to style. So if you’re completely clueless on what to do with your very own pompom-detailed scarf, just take a cue from Alessandra.
To wear a colorful pompom-trimmed neck warmer, wear it with garments that are classic in silhouette. Also, keep it monochromatic, and pick a color that will complement the scarf.
The idea is to make the accessory your statement piece, so be sure to tone down the rest of your wardrobe. To help you visualize what we mean, simply check out these scarf-and-dress combinations we’ve put together:

By the way, for those of you looking to copy Alessandra’s look, here are the details of our outfit (well, most of it, at least): her gold-detailed sandals are from Giuseppe Zanotti.

The stunning blue dress she is wearing is from her very own fashion line, Ale by Alessandra. It retails at an accessible $155 and is quite flattering to wear.

Alessandra’s nude shoulder bag is from Celine. We couldn’t find it online so check the nearest Celine store in your area if you want it. As for the most covetable item, which is her scarf, that one we have yet to locate.
We tried searching for it but came up with nothing. While we continue our research, feel free to grab any of the scarves we’ve posted above.
