Traveling, as in taking a plane ride, can really take a toll on our system — especially if it’s a long flight, so it’s important to dress as comfortably as possible. But how do you do that without looking like you’re in your PJs?

Well, we already showed you how to look simple but chic at the airport a la Cameron Diaz, but if that’s not the kind of style you fancy trying, here’s a cute and comfy one that you can easily pull off, courtesy of model-turned-actress, Milla Jovovich.

Milla was spotted arriving at LAX with her husband, Paul W.S. Anderson, yesterday. What we immediately noticed was how happy and friendly she seemed. She was in good spirits even after a long flight from Tokyo, where she attended the premiere of ‘Pompeii’. We couldn’t help but think that her sunny disposition was not just because of the fact that she’s madly in love, but also because she was really comfortable in whatever she was wearing.

Milla wore a combination of boyfriend jeans, a white tee, and some ballet flats. But she kept her look cute and interesting by topping the outfit with a blue textured jacket and tying a colorful scarf around her head. She was make-up free, yet she was glowing.

How do you like Milla’s latest airport style?

The look is simple, but with enough twist to make it stand out. We especially love the headwrap she put on. The pop of color from the printed extra really brightened up her face. Also, what’s great about this whole getup is that anyone can wear it, and you can find most of the pieces necessary to achieve it in your closet.

If you don’t have a printed silk square in your collection of scarves, here’s an affordable number you can try from Born Free. It is designed by Diane von Furstenberg and is made of 100% silk material. It’s sheer, lightweight, and perfect for turning into a headband:

To channel Milla’s airport style, roll the silk scarf and tie the piece around your head the rockabilly way. Once that’s in order, grab your boyfriend jeans and white t-shirt, then top the combo with a textured jacket or cardigan. Finally, cap off your look with flats, some great eyewear, and a practical purse:
