Today, we were inspired to copy an outfit Gwen Stefani put together for a trip to the nail salon.
Technically, it doesn’t include a scarf, but the hat she used to wrap her whole head could have easily been substituted with a headwrap.

The rocker mom wore a camo-patterned knitted beanie to match her camo-printed Adidas Jeremy Scott jacket. She rocked the uniform pieces with boyfriend jeans, her usual dark sunnies, as well as a pair of sky-high sandals.
It was a rather interesting and unexpected mix, though she pulled it off. The look was grunge, urban, cool, and sexy all at once.

How do you like Gwen’s latest street style? Would you like to take a cue and wear her look?
You can easily swap the beanie for a scarf. Just work the extra into a turban, and you’re all done. It will even give the outfit a more exotic feel.
Here are two combinations we put together using two different scarves — a solid one in olive from Love Quotes and a printed number in black and white from Marc by Marc Jacobs.
Wear with boyfriend jeans and a statement jacket to get Gwen’s look. If you want the singer’s acrylic-glass-detailed wedges, we’ve included those as well.
