Who: Silvy is one-half of the dynamic duo behind the blog, The Girls Behind the Camera. Along with her partner, Jamie, the gals cover everything from travel to photography, and from beauty to fashion. Is it just us or do you also think Silvy looks like Rooney Mara in these photos?
Why: We love the warm fall hues and vintage feel of her getup. It’s a little bit of retro and a little bit of country, but 100% polished. Accessories-wise, the printed scarf (from H&M) and floppy hat really elevated the attire.
2. Nydia from Puerto Rico
Who: Aside from blogging, Nydia works as a part-time wedding photographer. She’s obsessed with Paramore, loves to travel, read books, and favors boho elements like lace and florals. She goes by the style motto, chic and comfy. Judging from the getup below, you can tell Nydia takes laid-back dressing seriously. If you like her outfit, check out her blog for more ideas. Why: Need we explain why we love her look? It’s comfortable and chic! More importantly, we like how she transformed the outfit with the use of on-point extras — a printed neckerchief and a hat.
3. Ruxandra from Brussels, Belgium
Who: Ruxandra of From Brussels, With Love is a freelance model. She loves music and fashion (for obvious reasons), and enjoys traveling.
Why: We love the play of colors and textures in this outfit. The two-tone scarf looks gorgeous against the furry topper. The attire is warm, cozy, and fun, all thanks to an unexpected pop of pink.
4. Veronika from Vancouver, Canada
Who: By The Shore personal style blogger, Veronika, loves photography, great hats, and coffee. She is married to an actor/drama teacher and dreams of moving to New York one day. (Veronika’s scarf is from Joe Fresh)
Why: We love how she brightened a little black dress with a poppy red scarf and a denim jacket. It’s a classic combo that never fails to impress. Injecting a dose of edge by way of studded t-strap flats made the outfit look all the more interesting too.
5. Aika from Kanagawa, Japan (based in Seattle, USA)
Who: Aika is a petite US-based Japanese blogger whose goal is to inspire uniqueness and bring a ray of sunshine to the people around her. Her style is diverse and versatile, all thanks to a Japanese heritage and the influence of American pop culture. She documents her sartorial adventures on the site, Aika’s Love Closet.
Why: We like the blend of polish and punk in this outfit. Putting pink-purple hair together with an elegant silk scarf probably sounds unusual, but on Aika, the combo works.
6. Dorka Molnar from Budapest (based in London)
Who: Dorka is a Fashion Styling graduate who started working as an illustrator and stylist for a magazine before pursuing a career in Journalism. She has many accolades under her belt, including a published a book (to which she also illustrated), collaborations with countless brands, and many magazines features.
Besides blogging for The SENSE, a lifestyle site that covers everything from theater reviews and fashion, to beauty and recipes, she also runs a fashion startup.
Why: We love a girl who can get creative with her scarf (scarf bracelet, anyone?). Don’t you?
7. Linnae from Berlin, Germany
Who: Aside from being a blogger, 20-year-old Linnae of It’s Linnae is also a fashion designer. She loves photography, travel, and does a lot of helpful DIY tutorials.
Why: We love how she transformed the ensemble into one that is Lookbook-worthy simply by adding well-appointed accessories such as an oversized plaid wrap and a floppy hat.
8. Anna Kos from Minsk, Belarus
Who: Anna doesn’t say much, but hey, pictures speak a thousand words, and her blog has a lot. This girl enjoys wearing prints and her penchant for it created this geek-and-sporty-chic getup that we can’t stop admiring.
Why: We love the outfit. Period. It’s laid-back. It’s cool. It’s chic. It’s even a little quirky. The cardi, checkered scarf, and clear spectacles did the trick, of course.
9. Zia Domic from Canada (based in Los Angeles, USA)
Who: Zia of The Hunter Collector, is a gal who wears many hats. Besides being a blogger, she’s also a mom (to an 8-year-old son named Hunter), an actress, a freelance bookkeeper, and an amateur landscape artist. She believes accessories can make or break an outfit — to which we agree, of course.
Why: Speaking of accessories, Zia gets two thumbs up for giving her classic denim-skirt-and-shirt combo an instant style upgrade via well-chosen extras.
10. Lena Becker from Heidelberg, Germany
Who: Lena shares her take on style via the blog, Leonie Lowenherz. Besides writing, the 26-year-old fashionista is also taking up International Business Studies as a second degree (she already has a degree in Business). Like most of our top bloggers, she is an avid fan of traveling, food, and photography.
Why: We’re putting Lena on our list today because there’s a certain quite elegance about the casual getup she put together here. We immediately fell in love with it the moment we took a glance.
