Rihanna made the Fashion Week rounds in Paris last week. She started with Balmain and then headed to the Lanvin show all in one day. And as any other fashionable celeb would, she switched outfits too.
At the Balmain show, Ri-Ri wore an army green three-piece skirt ensemble from the label that was sophisticated and sexy.

For the Lanvin presentation, however, she channeled tomboy chic by slipping into a masculine-feminine look that was straight off Lanvin’s pre-fall 2014 collection — with the furry add-on included.

How do you like the outfit?
It’s an interesting mix, though we have to admit not everyone can appreciate it. The structured yet deconstructed jacket looks odd, and the fur wrap is even more so with the way it is set low and close to the waist. Nonetheless, we see its beauty, and we think Rihanna pulled off the whole attire really well.
If you can appreciate the mix just as much as we can, feel free to channel Ri-Ri’s style by slipping into a pair of cropped trousers and a matching sweater or drapey cardi (yes, either will do fine if you can’t find a jacket similar to Rihanna’s).
Belt it on the waist, then cap off with brogues and a hat. Finally, layer the ensemble with this furry piece from La Fiorentina.

This genuine rabbit fur scarf is about 9 inches wide, so it should cover your whole chest. Wrap it around your shoulders and wear it low, with the bottom ending right at the top of your natural waist.
