How often do photographers (or, say, a photo database agency) unintentionally mistake one actor for another?
We are aware it has happened before, but it becomes inexcusable when the celebrities concerned are well-known and oftentimes visible.
Take, for example, Malin Akerman and Molly Sims. If you look at Malin’s resume, she’s done a whole lot of movies with big A-list stars.
Molly, on the other hand, is a former model turned actress very well known for her stint on Sports Illustrated and the TV series Las Vegas.

It’s also quite hard to miss her because she always looks statuesque and stunning. That is why we actually cannot understand how some people get these two ladies mixed up.
In March 2014, Malin Akerman was spotted leaving a salon (while looking fabulous, by the way), and for some reason, the photographers who took her pictures thought she was Molly Sims.
Yes, both of them are blonde, but they sure don’t look alike, so we’re a little confused about how one was mistaken for the other.

Going back to how fabulous Malin looked, her outfit consisted of a classic white drapey tank and a really pretty pastel blue skirt.
It was a simple pairing, but how she dressed up the combo made all the difference. She capped off the outfit with grey peep-toe booties and a really gorgeous patterned and textured scarf — the kind with a tribal feel to it.

The look was neat and perfectly on point. We also fancy how she used the unique scarf to accent her pastel-themed ensemble. The contrasting colors kept the outfit interesting. Can you imagine how unexciting she would have looked had she left that scarf at home?
So let’s take a cue from Malin, shall we?
