We all know how Angelina Jolie loves to wear neutral colors like black, white, and nude. So imagine our surprise when the actress sashayed through the LAX while clad in a bright green wrap yesterday.

Yup! Angie wore some color, and she wore it well too. She used the topper to dress up her travel uniform — black Saint Laurent straight-leg trousers and black Havaianas flip-flop sandals. Angelina carried a black Sac de Jour bag from Saint Laurent.

Color definitely suits her. Would you agree? We wish she would wear more of it, and we’re actually hoping this is a sign that her sartorial preferences are evolving.

While we’re seeing a whole lot of green on Angie’s wrap, the scarf seems to be two-toned (there are definitely some champagne sections in there). It’s hard to decipher the material, but it looks to be semi-sheer. We don’t have the details on her gorgeous throw at the moment, but you can easily grab a similar piece if you want to take a cue.

Using bright extras, whether it’s a bag, a scarf, or a pair of shoes, is a quick and easy way to glam up a neutral outfit. We suggest you pick colors that go well with your skin tone. Angie’s bright green scarf is great for fair women as it brings out the creaminess of the complexion.

You can actually score a similar piece from Betsey Johnson at Zappos if you like.

Check out the label’s cashmere-silk blend pashmina. It’s perfectly oversized, so it can keep you warm on those cold spring nights, and the poppy green hue is a great pick-me-upper for any gal having a dull day. Even more fantastic is how affordable it is — just $63!
