And just like that, January is over. It’s amazing how time flies sooooo fast. We started this blog a few years ago (back in 2010) and we didn’t even have any clue how it would turn out. It’s officially 2014 and we’re still here — and quite happy, might we add, to have gained a good amount of reader base. Now before we get sentimental, allow us to give you a fresh round of style inspiration from our featured bloggers for January. Tartan still seems to be the favorite among fashionistas this winter, and it’s easy to see why. Check out the scarf looks below and pick your favorite.
1. Zipy P (Imperial Zita) from Budapest, Hungary
Her name is Imperial Zita but she calls herself Zipy P. She styles people and shops for them for a living — something we wish we could do too. We love the print-on-print ensemble she put together here. It’s unexpected yet chic. You can check out her blog, Zipy for more of her looks.
2. Julie Provencher from Quebec, Canada (based in Montreal)
This girl is equal parts beauty and brains. She’s a Finance student who loves to travel, loves food, and of course, loves fashion. Her online diary, Vive La Mode, is filled with outfits you can get ideas from. Need we explain why we love her outfit below? The touch of red against all the black is gorgeous. But what we love even more is how she used a shiny puffer jacket to go with. The high-shine texture added more drama to her look.
3. Aibina Yeshkeyeva from Kazakhstan
Who can resist Aibina’s well put together outfit? No one! We love how she mixed a really busy print and added solid shots of orange in her outfit. The combination is so fascinating to watch. Don’t forget to check out her namesake blog for more style inspiration.
4. Hannah A. from Berlin, Germany
Besides blogging, Hannah is also a designer and photographer with enviable access to celebrity-packed events (behind the velvet rope). Her blog, Celebrities And Fashion News, covers celebrity news as well as loads of fashionable outfit ideas, such as the one below, wherein she mixes masterfully mixes blue tartan with a statement necklace and an all-black outfit. So chic!
5. Rowan Reiding from Leeuwarden, Netherlands
Fond of grey? Then let this 50-shades-of-grey outfit from Rowan Reiding of Red Reiding Hood be your style inspiration. We love how the 21-year-old blogger mixed different textures of grey (and some black) to come up with the look.
6. Silvia P. from London, United Kingdom
You will definitely want to be in this blogger’s shoes. Silvia is a fashion photographer and make-up artist by profession. She also documents her outfits, musings, and (make-up) tutorials on her blog, Rock & Roses. She has an enviable collection of designer bags too!
Here she uses a plaid Topshop scarf as her statement accessory. Do you like her look?
7. Careese from California, USA
We have a Cali girl on our list today. Meet Careese, a Fashion Buyer and Merchandiser from, well, California. You can tell she’s quite the fierce and fabulous lady. Her online diary, Lychee Style, is a testament to that, as it is filled with super chic outfits worth storing in a lookbook.
8. Valerie Brems from Antwerp, Belgium
Valerie is Belgian but you may easily mistake her for a French woman. The 29-year-old blogger exudes that refined Parisian aura about her, but with a little bit of edge to it. A great example is her outfit below. Here, she mixes three different tartan prints to style a casual and laid-back outfit. We’re loving the combination, can you say the same?

9. Coco C. from Frankfurt, Germany
We are so in love with Coco outfit below. The mix of warm autumnal hues makes it so fascinating to look at. The scarf, is of course, the highlight. Coco is a 21-year-old blogger from Germany. Don’t forget to check out her blog, Coco Colo.
10. Michaela Scalisi from Switzerland
Like Coco’s outfit, we’re also loving the mix of pinks, corals, and reds in Michaela‘s ensemble below. Michaela is a relatively new blogger. She loves flowers, vintage pieces, chocolate, and handcrafting. She actually makes flower headbands and sells them at her Etsy shop.
