Light neutrals like cream, beige, dove grey, and (light) taupe are the perfect hues to consider if you shy away from color and are fed up with wearing black and white.
But to keep yourself from looking too washed out (especially if you’re light-skinned), just take a cue from one of Victoria’s Secret’s Angels — the leggy Alessandra Ambrosio.
The Brazilian supermodel was spotted taking neutral to the next level while running errands in Santa Monica a few weeks back. Alie wore a beige sweater with her white skinnies, then topped the combo with a cream-colored neck warmer.
But instead of pairing the outfit with nude (or white) flats, she wore cognac-colored boots and a Hermes purse in the same rich buttery hue to keep the look interesting. Cat-eye sunnies finished the ensemble and gave her that effortlessly chic vibe.

How do you like Alessandra’s take on neutral dressing? Like?
It’s easy, and it actually looks quite refined and elegant. And the best part is that you can pull it off as fabulously as she did. You don’t have to be a supermodel to look great in the whole mix. Would you copy her outfit?
If your answer is a yes, try these key pieces we’ve put together. These are pretty easy on the pocket, so grabbing them won’t make you feel so guilty:

Alessandra’s scarf is actually also from Love Quotes — the Linen Eyelash Fringe scarf. Sadly, we could not find the exact same color online. Other variants, however, can be purchased over at Zappos.

And as for Alessandra’s boots, those are the popular Rag & Bone Harrow. You can easily grab a pair for yourself online. They’re pricey ($495) but will most likely last you through seasons.
