Guess who was spotted sporting a retro-looking scarf-do yesterday?
Yep, Eva Mendes. The gorgeous Latina actress arrived at LAX in a comfy mixed-print black-and-white outfit that she styled ever so sassily with a poppy and equally printed red scarf around her head. She wore the piece like a semi-turban, with the bun of her hair sticking out on the back. (You can check our most recent how-to post, if you want to do this particular hairstyle).

How do you like Eva’s look? Did she go overboard or would you say the whole get-up was quite well put together?
We say she looked mighty effortless!
Even though she combined three different prints, she was able to make it work because she kept the colors classic and chose prints that were small enough and didn’t clash. The red scarf (which was also printed) and red necklace complemented the whole mix and added just the perfect amount of color to her outfit.
Besides, we’ve honestly never seen anyone look so freakin’ good in a scarf-do. Eva is definitely one of those women who can work a headscarf and make it look extra fabulous.
We don’t have the details on her outfit at the moment, but if you want to steal her look, you can do so with any of these red printed scarves from Theodora & Callum and MARC by Marc Jacobs. If you need a guide on how to do the hairstyle, check this post.
Top the scarf over black-and-white printed separates and voila! You’re good to go! You can try the pieces below from Joie and Zero + Maria Cornejo. Both items are currently on sale at Shopbop.
