There’s a reason why personal style bloggers are such a hit. And that is simply this – they can work a lifeless garment or piece of accessory and put personality into it.
Here are 10 bloggers who have used the scarf not just as a neck warmer, but as an accessory to create style that is fresh, unique, on-point, and hype-worthy.
We have handpicked these fashionistas because of the fabulous way they have used the scarf to come up with head turning looks that are novel, neat, and never-seen-before. Check them out below and perhaps learn a fashion trick or two:
1. Mer A. from Spain
Whoever said you have to ditch bright extras and short shorts on a rainy day? Check out Mer of MerMyBlog below. She simply nailed it with the punches of bright yellow in her predominantly black ensemble.
Not many people can wear several statement pieces at once (as in, patent knee boots + studded gloves + matching yellow scarf and clutch + animal print raincoat) – but Mer managed to pull this one off with flair:

2. Keit from Bulgaria
Another blogger who loves her colors – Keit of BeautyInInsanity from Bulgaria. This girl is not afraid to mix, match, and experiment. We love how she made the berry pink scarf look extra rich against the ultra intense neon yellow hat. It’s such a wonderful mix that is so mesmerizing to watch!

3. Prisca E. from Hong Kong
Oh my! We’re having a major girl crush on this fresh face from Hong Kong – Prisca E. of MochaccinoLand. How can you not love her when she comes up with the most fabulous outfits oh-so effortlessly?
Case in point, the beautiful texture play she created with the outfit below using a pebbled knit scarf, a leather skirt, and a mohair-like sweater. Super chic, right?!

4. Ezra from Washington
He doesn’t say much, he is a bit of a mystery (we don’t even know if his real name is Ezra), but he is seriously sassy and cool!
We love the way he worked the fox fur on these gorgeous photos. He reminds us of David Bowie; minus the wrinkles, of course. You can find him and his musings at NotLogenMills.

5. Mass Luciano from Hong Kong
His full name is Emmanuel Mass Luciano and he’s actually a designer based in Hong Kong. On his blog, OMLBLog, he reports his latest musings, as well as posts some amazingly put together outfits.
We just had to feature the look he came up with below, the moment we saw it. We love how he layered two different scarves, and we love how it worked so well against that cute camo sweater! Such a cool combo, right?

6. Stephanie from Albany, New York
Meet Stephanie of ChocolateLaced. The moment we saw the New York blogger and her red and white “Valentine’s Day” outfit, we knew we had to include her on our list.
Doesn’t she look fab? It’s a retro look that is totally girly and cute. And we love how it actually complements the snowy background. Think you can pull off something just as retro this season?

7. Matea from Croatia
Even when it’s cold outside, you CAN wear short shorts. Just check out the way Matea of SmileSnapSparkle wore her denim cutoffs. Don’t you just love the mix she put together? We love how she used a bright and multicolored extra to spice up an ordinary outfit.
This look is so easy to pull, would you like to give it a try?

8. Oriana M. from Switzerland
Oriana of the blog, TheTallBlond, is an avid outfit poster on LookBook. And yes, she is really really tall. Besides looking like a supermodel, the girl also has an amazing fashion sense. Here she is below styling the army jacket in a really sophisticated way – with high heels, a hat, and a really pretty colored scarf that turned her look from lukewarm to hot!

9. Marion H. from Paris, France
Marion, who hails from Paris and authors her own blog, FringeandFrange, put together this really cool boho-inspired outfit after seeing the plaid patterned tote from UGG in her hand. We love how she paired it with a striped poncho and a hat. Can you say you’re a fan as well?

10. Sophia M. from Munich
Sophia Mayrhofer no longer updates her blog, but she does love posting her outfits on LookBook. The girl has more than 2000 fans on the site, and it’s easy to see why – she’s got GREAT style. It’s very retro inspired, but what we love about it is how she mixes prints and colors and comes up with outfits that are so vibrant and fresh. Case in point, the ones below.
