Here’s Selena Gomez again for you. The young Wizards of Waverly Place star has been attending one Jingle Ball after another.

She was spotted attending Z100’s Jingle Ball presented by H&M on December 11, and we couldn’t help but notice her odd outfit that day.

Too much going on, agree? Too many textures in one outfit equals a fashion disaster. A classic black top and skirt minus the textured stockings and maybe some uber-fabulous boots would have absolutely looked stunning with that red knitted scarf.

Check out the ensemble we came up with below:

Outfit inspired by Selena GomezScarf: Luxury Divas Red Fine Knit Circle Scarf, $25 Clutch: Ed Hardy City Slicker Sochi Satchel, $225 / Booties: Pelle Moda Tammi, $195 / Skirt: BB Dakota Chance, $50 / Top: ABS Allen Schwartz Pull Shoulder Top, $130 / Tights: Kate Spade Spangle Tights, $36

Do you like it? Or do you prefer Selena’s? Of course, we can’t be too critical of the youngling. She is, after all, just a teenager still trying to experiment with her style.
